Optimization of Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect in Magnetic Microwires

Abstract:
In this work, we present the experimental results of our study of various parameters of the Giant MagnetoImpedance (GMI) effect of magnetic microwires. We observed that the GMI effect and the magnetic softness of microwires can be tailored by controlling the Magnetoelastic anisotropy of as-prepared microwires. On the other hand, the GMI ratio can be optimized selecting appropriate measuring conditions, i.e., the measuring frequency.
