Using Statistical Tests in a Trust Model

Abstract:
Nowadays, it is widely recognized that trust is a key aspect of services when integrating them in enterprise environments. This paper presents a solution which takes advantage of the data available by carrying out statistical hypothesis tests in order to evaluate some aspects which are directly related to a service trust. As a result, the application of some tests improves the accuracy and increases the robustness of trust models.
