On the Singular Steady-state Output in Discrete-time Linear Systems

Abstract:
The singular steady-state output in discrete-time linear systems is studied having as base an eigenfunction approach to the computation of the particular solution. It is shown that the exponentials are the eigenfunctions of such systems. Solutions corresponding to products of falling factorial and exponentials are obtained and generalised for the important singular cases. The ARIMA case is study as an application.
