Abstract:
This paper presents the architecture of Web Accessibility Directive Decision Support Environment (WADcher), a unified web accessibility assessment framework for large-scale assessment of compliance against web accessibility recommendations and legislations. It aims to provide customized support for various user groups like web commissioners, web developers and accessibility experts. To achieve this, the WADcher platform offers tools and interfaces like an Observatory for visualization of the assessment results, a Decision Support Environment for expert reviews and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to existing tools.
