Abstract:
Cities are facing a new challenge related to their population; it is the first time in history that most part of human population is now living in metropolis. Within this scenario, a city needs to deploy new solutions, presenting systems that answers to demands related to Security, Health, Resources, Government, Education and other urban daily systems to its citizens. In order to keep the creation of such solutions, it is vital to present developers with means to validate their projects. Focusing on this situation, this paper proposes the creation of a configurable testbed, where web services represent different systems of a smart city that could be consumed by applications in order to validate its implementation and features.
