A Database Approach to Extending the Usable Ka B and Spectrum for FSS Satellite Systems

Abstract:
The paper demonstrates a data base approach for sharing spectrum between FSS satellite systems and FS/BSS fixed link and broadcast satellites in the 17.3 to 19.7GHz band. Results using real data bases indicate that FSS on the down link can share most of the 2.4GHz spectrum using the data base approach.
