Empirical Analysis of Trustworthiness Attributes in the Context of Digitization

Abstract:
This paper describes the concept, implementation and first results of a multidimensional research approach to improve the trustworthiness of digital services. It presents the current per-ception of the concepts of trust and trustworthiness in tech-nical and sociological systems, and their connection as an iden-tified gap. Well-known environmental analysis is used to define the dimensions. The empirical investigations are designed sepa-rately for each dimension, or domains of study. The goal is to subsequently create a holistic and robust concept for trustwor-thy socio-technical systems.
