Abstract:
Abstract—Ubiquitous computing is shifting welfare for elderly from traditional models, like family and in-hospital care,toward self, mobile, home and preventive care. This evolution is expected to be supported by Ambient Intelligent systems, embedded in smart homes and providing personalized services at the right time, place and manner. This is the vision of our proposal, an innovative methodological approach for designing and developing personalized and ubiquitous healthcare services that autonomously adapt at run-time to changes of the user needs and of the environment where he lives, so that improving the quality of its life.
