Abstract:
UrbanContext is an urban computing context abstraction model that follows an individual centered approach and validates the use of the Theory of Roles to understand the behavior of the individual within a social environment. The roles defined in UrbanContext allow the interpretation of the states of the individual, facilitating its interaction with the environment and offering services without damaging its privacy. In this paper, we mainly describe a real evaluation scenario for UrbanContext at the UBI platform in Oulu (Finland).
