Abstract:
VMPepper is an encrypted voice mail system man- aged by Pepper, the humanoid robot. Pepper ships with face recognition software that has been used in voice mail system design. The robot has a voice recording module as well. A human that has already been recognized can record or listen to messages to or from another user. Sensitive data such the audio message itself, sender and recipient are encrypted during transmission. A set of users has been selected to evaluate the system. During the experiments, Pepper could move freely, initiating interaction on recognizing a user. The interactions completed successfully in 100% of the cases.
