Using an Expert System to Automatically Map the Learning Profile of Individuals

Abstract:
This paper presents a new integrated, web-based system for assessing the learning aptitudes, the learning styles, and the potential of the brain hemispheres of individuals. Specially designed psychometric questionnaires are adopted and a new battery of tests – that is, a combination of factors – is proposed. The analysis of the factors is carried out by the Ariston expert system shell, and statistical data is presented regarding the reliability–validity of the system.
