Abstract:
Throughout the pandemic, institutional education switched from face-to-face lectures and practical application to remote learning facilitated by learning management platforms and remote laboratory systems. While conventional lecture formats were replaceable, especially in engineering laboratory work was limited by available remote laboratory systems, the possibility to integrate them as well as their range of functions and financial attractiveness. We introduce RaspCon, an easily implementable Raspberry Pi controlled web-application based on open-source software, as an extension to the LabCon system, allowing not only for remote access to real laboratory hardware but also the reconfiguration of its interconnections.
