The letter has a cancellation on 26 December 1983

There are some errors in this cancellation:

  1. The stamp on right lower corner, orange, 65 p, portraying King Juan Carlos was issued in 1993. Therefore, it could not be used in 1983.

  2. December 26th (second Christmas Day) used to be holiday in 1983, so the Post Office used to be closed.

  3. December 26th was Sunday in 1993 (the probable year when the letter was circulated). It is not likely that the letter was cancelled that day.

It was obviously a hand cancellation with the date mismatched in the date-stamp.
