CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is the basic course that helps students to direct their career straight to the computer networks and Internet communications. It is also useful for actual or future professionals that, working in the scope of software or systems development, want to acquire a solid base of knowledge on Networking. |
This Professional Certification guarantees that the owner has solid knowledge on small and medium networks or segments of big networks. CCNA technicians are able to setup, configure and operate Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Access Services of about 100 nodes. The protocols and communication systems that are able to manage CCNA technicians are IP, TCP, UDP, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, PPP, RDSI, Frame Relay, Spanning Tree, VLANs and Access Control Lists among others. The CCNA course that is given in the CNAP academies is formed by 4 modules that have the content needed to prepare for the certification. The following links have the list of topics for each module (in Spanish):
For further information, the Web Page CCNA could be used.Students that finish all CCNA 4 modules in one of the CNAP academies and pass the voucher exam, given in module 4, with a grade higher than 70%, can ask for a discount of 50% in the CCNA certification registration fees. This exam could be taken in PROMETRIC o VUE partners. |
