Prof. Alabau passed away on Dec. 23rd, 2017, after a long illness. Some of you met him while he was a Professor at Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, and researched on EU Policies (Telecommunications, Information Society, e-Government). He retired in 2009, but kept active collaborating with development aid NGOs. He was, and still is, an example to all of us who knew him.
