Summary:

This video presents examples simulating the motion of several bodies under gravitational interaction. The video uses the code detailed in video [nbdsimcEN], briefly summarised in the first two minutes. Then, examples with 3, 4, and 5 bodies appear and emphasis is placed on the simulation of problems with two bodies, to illustrate elliptical orbits, barycenter motion (conservation of momentum), and escape velocity of a light body from the attraction of a (much) heavier body, via mechanical energy conservation arguments.
