customs of the population, since it is a symbolic element of great importance to
the community of which he is emblem. It brings together not only related values
work-place, with the craftsmanship of the salt, but also of their own history in
forging the identity of the municipality. Therefore, the Hon. City Council are
looking for ways and means for achieving the goal of sustainable management
of the site, based on three pillars: heritage´s activation, intervention and
responsible rural tourism.
